Josh,

Lysaa has great suggestions. But her suggestions are – as is a commonly found – are counters to poor project management practices.

Read “How NASA Builds Teams: Mission Critical Soft Skill for Scientist, Engineers, and Projects Teams, to see how high ceremony programs and the program members deliver results without having to have a counter argument against the methods of anti-agile.

If Lysaa gave the same talk and didn’t use the term agile or use “traditional project management,” it would no different than the processes used on our manned spaceflight software program – minus the required documentation of DO-178 and Earned Value reporting.

Good points Glen, as usual.

For instance, a lot has been written and conveyed about the concept of servant leadership…and that is not something specific to Agile by any means. It’s not even specific to project management.
