PM Network Magazine to Highlight Outstanding Organizations in Project Management

PM Network® magazine contacted me today and asked for help getting the word out about this initiative for the October 2007 issue. I am happy to oblige.

PM Network® magazine is in search of exceptional organizations that have employed and invested in innovative project management practices.

The October 2007 issue of PM Network magazine will feature a special section highlighting a sampling of outstanding organizations from around the globe. For-profit corporations, governmental agencies, and not-for-profit or nongovernmental organizations will be profiled. Organizations of all sizes are eligible.

To be considered, organizations will have:

  • Developed a project management career path
  • Pioneered best practices or demonstrated innovation in project management principles
  • Acknowledged project management at the executive level
  • Attributed continuous improvement or ROI to project management practices
  • Placed value on project management credentialing.

Applicants should send a brief description of the nominee—including name and location—and why it qualifies as an outstanding organization in project management to Michelle Bowles, PM Network special projects editor, at mbowles@imaginepub.com. Applicants can also visit www.PMIentry.com for an online application. All organizations must be willing to have a spokesperson interviewed by PM Network writers.

Applicants should act soon—the deadline for nominations is 15 June 2007.
