For example, the language of this post is limited to IT/software, and also assumes that everyone reading it knows what a business analyst is and does. It also assumes a particular approach to delivery in the discussion of the relationship between the PM and the BA.

I understand that PMs from other application areas may learn something from reading a post like this (for example, construction PMs might be able to apply some of these lessons to dealing with the architect on their projects), but it sure would be nice to have the author establish the context rather than forcing us to make assumptions.

Might also produce better, more thoughtful articles.</description>
